Donation: 5-day fishing trip in Alaska for 2 anglers. License and stamps are not included. Bring a youth 16 and under and only pay 1/2 price.
Dates: June or July, 2013. This trip cannot be delayed.
Additional people: Welcome for $3,250 each, but youth 16 and under are welcome for half price!
Location: Alaskan Peninsula.
Licenses: Extra, $30 for the license and $20 for the conservation stamp, a king stamp is $100.
Accommodations: Included in very modern private cabins and a river front lodge on the Naknek River. This area adjoins the Katmai National Park. Come experience the life cycle of Alaska’s Wild Salmon. Also included are all tackle, guiding, boats, wonderful ambiance and the meals are first class Alaskan fare.
Transportation: Included from King Salmon to the lodge and return.
Special note: Enjoy Alaska’s very best fishing for salmon, Rainbow and Lake trout, grayling, and pike along with fantastic wildlife viewing. This trip will have an educational focus and is ideal as a youth education trip. You will learn firsthand the biology and life cycle of wild salmon and other fresh water fish species. You will see fisheries managers counting, aging, and scale sampling salmon stocks and also learn how they regulate commercial and sport harvest to insure healthy returns in the future. A visit to a fish processing and canning plant is included. Exciting tours of Katmai Park Lake system along with a visit to famous Brooks Camp provide ample opportunity to view brown bears catching fish. You will see the Alaska most others miss. This trip will be personally and professionally guided.
