Donation: Enjoy 5-days of hunting bull tahr with well known and respected Outfitter Gary Herbert’s - New Zealand Hunting. This hunt is a one on one hunt with trophy fees included for 1 bull tahr.
Dates: February - August, 2013 or can be delayed till 2014. Recommend May through August for best trophy quality.
Additional hunters: Welcome at $6,500 USD.
Additional non-hunters: Welcome at $275 USD/per person/per day. Each touring guest is provided a daily guide and transportation during their stay. 70% of our clients bring such guests on the hunt.
Amenities included: Included is the 1 trophy for a bull tahr, all meals, beverages, laundry, 1 on 1 guide, transfers, and taxes. All other NZ species can be arranged at the current rates (see website or stop by the booth for details)
Amenities not included: Special helicopter charters may be required at $1,000 USD, depending on the hunt style selected. All is 100% free range for tahr and chamois.
Accommodations: Premier lodging or alpine spike camp style hunt and also based out of a private lodge.
Special note: Gary Herbert is your host, outfitter, guide and owner of New Zealand Hunting Limited, which has the reputation for providing international trophy hunters some of the best hunting opportunities throughout New Zealand. Their guides are some of the most experienced hunters in the South Pacific. They work together as a team to increase your chances of finding that great trophy. Gary was first introduced to the guiding industry in 1994 where he was employed by a New Zealand outfitting company as a packer/guide. LIVE AUCTION PAYMENT SCHEDULES
Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the Auction Payment Table during the International Banquet, the Ladies Luncheon, Life Member Breakfast, all Live Auctions, and at the Saturday Banquet. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
WSF welcomes the use of approved credit cards for auction purchases. However, a convenience fee of 3% will be added to all auction purchases, including special permits when using credit cards for auction payments. Attn: Special Permit Bidders: A 5% buyers premium will be added to the final bid price of each special permit sold. (Unless prohibited by state statute. Proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives.
PICK UP OF AUCTION ITEMS PURCHASED
Items may be picked up during the auctions with proof of payment. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the auction hall to assist you in obtaining your item. In addition, you can pick up your item in the Live & Silent Auction Display area (located in the Exhibit Hall) during show hours, please have your receipt available.
SILENT AUCTION PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Silent Auction results will be posted at the close of the auction in the Silent Auction Area and at the Registration Desk. Payments will be taken at the Registration Desk from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Arrangements for item pick up can be made at that time. Bidding begins Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and ends Saturday at 3 p.m.
Any items left in the inventory, either unpaid or uncollected, will be taken back to WSF Headquarters and shipped at the purchaser’s expense.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS REGARDING FIREARMS
Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, WSF will ship the firearm from Headquarters to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention. WSF cannot transfer any firearm at the Convention.
TERMS OF SALE
Any bid made at a WSF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction. For any purchase of more than $100,000, upon request, an issued check currently dated will not be deposited until the opening of the sixth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1% per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late.
The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals or companies.
All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by WSF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold “AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of WSF. WSF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WSF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WSF. WSF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. WSF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
WSF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available.
“WSF strongly encourages Special Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the state, province, tribal nation or country he/she is hunting. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law.
It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the state, province or country they are hunting.
Only WSF exhibitors may solicit and/or market to permit buyers or attendees on the expo or auction floor during our conventions. Solicitation by non exhibitors violates WSF Exhibit policy and is prohibited.”
