Donation: WSF Chairman of the Board, Marc Hansen is donating this beautiful Parker Brothers s/s 12 gauge shotgun. Parker guns were built in Meriden, Connecticut for seventy years, and then closed its doors near the end of 1937. Remington Arms Co. Inc purchased Parker in 1934. Parker guns achieved great notoriety having been the choice of well known celebrities, folks of stature, political leaders, and even U.S. Presidents. Parker Brothers knew they wanted to produce a quality shotgun for the discerning sportsman. They put together a team of skilled gunsmiths, engravers, carvers, etc.; this team probably ranged from highly skilled and experienced, to entered apprentice. They had the freedom to experiment and perfect their art, along with all the innovations made during that time. Add this fine firearm to your collection of one of the greats!
Value: $7,000.
