Donation: The very FIRST Lazzeroni® rifle...
serial #L1234567, was built during the second half of 1995, chambered in the now discontinued 7.21 (.284) FireHawk® caliber, and previewed in the February 1996 issue of Guns Magazine as the “Guns of Lazzeroni”.
John Lazzeroni carried this rifle during his 1996 caribou hunt in Alaska, took a nice trophy, and put the rifle into the safe in his office where it has been ever since, still in new condition, original Swarovski scope still mounted & zeroed.
John is proud to offer this unique piece of firearms history at the Saturday Night Banquet auction for the Wild Sheep Foundation, Reno NV, January 21st, 2012. Included with this rifle donation are 1 sealed box of the original Lazzeroni 140gr loaded ammunition for the FireHawk caliber, along with 60 rounds of new brass cases, and a set of RCBS reloading dies. Also included are laminated printed copies of each page of the original GUNS magazine article, along with a signed photo print of the trophy caribou John Lazzeroni took with this rifle on that very special hunt.
