Description: New for 2021 — Legendary bolt-action rifle designed for long-range hunting and target shooting. Ultra-stable Bell and Carlson composite stock with aluminum bedding block, matte black finish action and fluted barrel with muzzle brake, M.O.A. trigger system, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Extreme accuracy and recoil control in tough shooting conditions. The Model 70 Long Range MB utilizes a Bell and Carlson™ composite stock that provides a solid feel from the bench without being too heavy to be carried in the field. The fore-end is wider with a flat bottom for excellent stability and is vented to improve barrel cooling. It has a tan finish and the grip is textured for improved grip in adverse conditions. The thick Pachmayr® Decelerator® pad helps take the felt recoil bite out of high-performance magnum cartridges. Proven features. Like all Model 70s today, the Long Range MB features the Pre'-64 type claw extractor with Controlled Round Feed. The claw extractor locks onto the cartridge rim, making it easy to withdraw the cartridge from the chamber at any point after it leaves the magazine. The claw also aligns the cartridge with the chamber to reduce the chance of damaging the bullet tip. The cartridge feed lips are machined as part of the receiver for improved reliability in feeding.
The classic Three-Position Safety offers both on safe and fire positions, plus a middle position that locks the firing pin yet still allows the bolt to be operated, providing a greater margin of safety when checking the chamber condition or unloading.
Accuracy is paramount. The Long Range MB is equipped with a free-floating fluted barrel with a recessed target crown to protect the rifling. With quality optics, premium ammunition and good shooting conditions, 1 MOA accuracy can be expected — if you're up to it. The fluted barrel provides additional stiffness without adding excessive weight. The caliber line-up is comprised of big game and varmint calibers.
Bell and Carlson quality and construction. Winchester Repeating Arms has teamed with Bell and Carlon on many occasions over the years to outfit our finest specialty rifles. With features like a proprietary molding system that maximizes strength and one of the industry's most acclaimed aluminum bedding block designs (for a total lock from action to stock), you get superb accuracy, ideal balance and strength only possible with non-traditional stock engineering.
The Extreme Weather does not have a traditional injected type stock. As per specifications developed by Bell and Carlson and Winchester Repeating Arms, the stocks are ''constructed using a ''hand lay-up'' process, using a variety of composite materials. These composites — including fiberglass, aramid fibers, graphite, epoxy gel coats and laminating resins; and polyurethane reinforcement with milled fiberglass — provide a warm and solid feel rather than the hollow feel one gets from injection molded stocks.'' The Extreme Weather stock is reliable over a temperature range of -50 degrees to +140 degrees Fahrenheit for extreme stability under any heat and cold conditions you might encounter around the world: Alaska to Arizona and beyond.

The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals and/or companies.
Any bid made at a WSF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction. For any purchase of more than $100,000, upon request, all issued check currently dated will not be deposited until the opening of the sixth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table during the Ladies Luncheon, Life Member Breakfast, and all evening auctions. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.

*WSF strongly encourages Special Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the State, Province, Tribal Nation or Country he/she is hunting. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State, Province or Country they are hunting.

ABSENTEE BID FORM: If you are bidding on behalf of someone that is not in attendance, you will have to fill out an Absentee Bid Form which will be provided at the Auction Payment Table (left of stage) during the banquet auctions.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, WSF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from Headquarters to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention. WSF cannot transfer any firearm at the Convention.
WSF AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by WSF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of WSF. WSF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WSF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WSF. WSF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. WSF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. WSF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only WSF exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers or attendees on the expo or auction floor during our conventions. Solicitation by non-exhibitors violates WSF Exhibit policy and is prohibited.
SILENT AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE/PAYMENT/PICK-UP

Silent Auction results will be posted at the close of the auction in the Silent Auction Area and on the Online Hunting Auction web site. Bidding begins Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and ends Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Pick up can be made from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday. Any items left in the inventory, either unpaid or uncollected, will be taken back to WSF Headquarters and shipped at the purchaser’s expense. If you do not register your credit card with Online Auctions, you will not be able to pay on Saturday at the conclusion of the event. Your items will be returned to headquarters and you will be contacted to make payment for the item plus shipping costs.
