Attn: Special Permit Bidders: A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of each special permit sold, unless prohibited by statute. Proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives.



This permit will allow hunting in all open units including the newly formed Zions unit along the Arizona-Utah boarder. The DWR has surveyed this area and found a large well established herd of sheep. Utah has a very strong desert sheep population and is on the increase. This is largely due from the proceeds of the sale of this permit that has allowed the capture & transplant of wild sheep. Utah's Bighorn sheep population has gone from 800 sheep 17 years ago to over 6,000 statewide. Please know the recipient of the permit will help to make history in Utah's wild sheep program. Season dates are September 1st through December 31st, 2012.  A voucher will need to be submitted to the state of Utah for the appropriate resident or non-resident license fee for 2012. Check Utah's hunting proclamation for any updates or changes. This tag is being offered through the SCI Utah Chapter with 100% of the auction proceeds dedicated to Utah sheep conservation programs.
