Donation: If you’re looking for a unique backcountry experience and stories to tell your friends, come spend 5 days with “Old Stu” on his trapline in the Caribou Region of British Columbia this winter. You will enjoy the habitat, learn the habits of the furbearers and participate in an age old profession. Stuart Maitland has been trapping for over 45 years and outfitting for more than 30 years. The guest trapper will be able to take home one fur from each species trapped except for wolf and wolverine which have an additional fee of $500 CAD if you catch one. CITES permits will be extra. An additional trapper may accompany the buyer for $4,500 CAD. A non-trapping guest may come for $250 US per day. Accommodations will be in the outfitter’s residence. Transportation between Williams Lake and camp is included. A BIG “Thank you” to Stuart for his generous donation through the GOABC.
