Donation: 12-day Kodiak Island brown bear for 1 hunter. License/tag fees not included. Dick & Sam Rohrer will be personally guiding this hunt!
Dates: This hunt must be scheduled for spring 2014. This includes travel days to/from camp. This hunt cannot be delayed.
Non-hunting companion: Consult the donor for the possibility of a non-hunter.
Location: Kodiak Island, AK.
Additional fees: The license and tag is $500 and the conservation fee is $85.
Amenities included: Bush plane transportation, two guides. You will be guided by Master Guides: Dick & Sam Rohrer.
Accommodations: This hunt takes place from the base camp and will be personally guided by Dick. Accommodations are included in cabins during the hunt. First rate hospitality and home cooked meals are also included. The first nights hotel is extra.
Transportation: Round trip from Kodiak to the camp and return is included.
Special note: You can rest assured that this will be an excellent hunt! 2005 FNAWS Golata Award Winner, Dick & Sue Rohrer, have been loyal WSF supporters and have been donating since 1982. Successful bidder of the 2006 donation, Robert Castle received a 1st place award for brown bear in the B&C 27th Big Game Awards Book 2007-2009 period with an official score of 29 9/16”. The official SCI score was
30 1/16”.
