2014 Colorado Rocky Mtn. Bighorn Sheep License:
The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society is proud to bring the 2014 Colorado Statewide Bighorn Sheep tag to the Wild Sheep Foundation Convention. There have been numerous rams taken in Colorado that qualify for Boone and Crockett as well as Pope and Young. In fact, since 2005 Colorado is second only to Montana in the U.S. in the number of B&C rams. The winner of this tag will have the opportunity to pursue a trophy ram for approximately a five-month time frame. The season start dates are unit and weapon specific and may open as early as August 1, 2014 but with the added benefit of a closing date of December 31, 2014. Most regular seasons close around the first week of October but the winner of this tag will be allowed to hunt during the rut and may be the only hunter in the field.
Guiding/Outfitting is not included with the purchase of this tag. This license is not valid for the harvest of a desert bighorn sheep and is not transferable to another person.
