The successful bidder will experience a once-in-a-lifetime hunt: from floating the Colorado River to the challenges of hunting above 11,000ft. in central Nevada. This tag is open to all desert bighorn sheep management units open during the 2014 season, which runs from September 1, 2014 through January 1, 2015 (some units may have restricted access and special requirements). Spectacular rams can be found within many different herds - a dozen rams scoring over 170 B&C from eight different units were harvested in the 2008 season. Standard tag eligibility and bighorn indoctrination provisions do not apply to this tag. Nevada’s restoration program, supported in large part by this tag, has resulted in the highest desert bighorn population in the U.S. Stop by the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s booth to learn more
