Alberta’s Provincial Mammal, the Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep is world re-knowned both for its size and the magnificent habitat that it occupies!
The successful bidder will be able to hunt one minimum 4/5 curl trophy sheep, in accordance with all provisions of the Wildlife Act and Wildlife Regulation*. This special license is valid during open hunting seasons in all locations having an open season to hunt sheep, including a special license trophy sheep draw season as identified in the 2015 Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations.
A minimum of 60% of funds generated by the auction have been contractually designated to be invested in projects for the long-term benefit of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep with the potential that all 100% can be invested.

LICENSE CONDITIONS
The license holder is required to hire a licensed outfitter-guide and be accompanied by a designated guide or by a hunter host.
Before hunting, the license holder must notify the local Fish and Wildlife Division office of the license and tag number, intended hunting area within the WMU(s), and the dates when hunting will occur.
This license does not authorize hunting on Sundays in Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) where the Sunday hunting of big game is prohibited.(The WMU’s for this hunt are not affected by this condition)
This license does not authorize hunting in any location where hunting is prohibited (such as in a wildlife sanctuary, park,
cological reserve, or restricted area).

A 5% buyers premium will be added to the final bid price of each special permit sold, unless prohibited by statute. Proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
