Donation: 5-day genuine, wild, free range red stag or estate red stag up to 360 SCI. This is a horseback hunt with New Zealand Safaris. This hunt is for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter. Trophy fee is included for one free range red stag or Estate red stag up to 360 SCI points.
Dates: March - June, 2016 or 2017.
Additional hunters: Welcome for $500 per day plus trophy fees.
Additional non-hunters: Welcome for $160 per day.
Amenities included: Trophy fee for a red stag up to 360 SCI points. Horses, wrangler, professional guide, transportation, field skinning, and meat preparations, meals and beverages are also included.
Amenities not included: Purchaser is responsible for firearms license $25 NZ, gratuities, and flights to and from Christchurch or Timaru airports.
Location: Fairlie Basin, South Island, New Zealand.
Accommodations: Hunters choice of full service Rivendell hunting lodge or private hunting cabin on the property.
Special note: New Zealand Safaris has the reputation for specializing in genuine free range hunting safaris. Wild Sheep member Rod Brandenburg has hunted with them for three consecutive years for free range red stag and bull tahr. You will be able to hunt free range trophy red stag, bull tahr, fallow buck, Alpine chamois or Wallaby on free range private land area. The Fairlie Basin is renowned for taking the largest record book bull tahr every year on foot.
