Donation: Autographed Code Talker Book donated by: Senator John Pinto (New Mexico Senator and WW II Code Talker) A true piece of American history donated by Senator Pinto in support of today’s Warrior’s. Senator Pinto was born and raised on the Navajo Nation in the Southwestern United States. He is currently one of only two surviving Code Talkers. It was the Navajo Code Talkers that altered the course of World War II and ultimately history itself. Their code was never broken, nor was their dedication to protect freedom.
The USMC Navajo Code Talkers by Yellowhorse - Heritage Collectables and David Yellowhorse, proudly present this exclusive edition commemorating the raising the US flag at Iwo Jima. David starts with a Buck #110 featuring mirror polished blade, and transforms it into a very unique one-of-a-kind piece of Navajo artwork! He hand cuts the flag raising scene from Nickel silver and inlays it into Web Turquoise accented with Bloody Jasper strips. This scene is accented with textured silver strips, blue turquoise and black jet stone. The polished, black bolsters are textured and personalized, while the blade features our HC logo, serial # 1/1 and Artist’s signature. USMC Navajo Code Talkers by Yellowhorse comes featured in a walnut and glass presentation case complete with authenticity plaque.
