Donation: United States of America Flag Donated by: Captain Benjamin “Slic” White USAF. This flag was carried by Captain White aboard a USAF F-15e Strike Eagle during some of the final bombing missions of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan. Carried onboard fighters with the 335th Fighter Squadron “Chiefs” and 336th Fighter Squadron “Rocketeers”, respectfully carried in support of their wounded brothers and sisters combat wounded in both Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, our own 97 year old Urban Rahoi flew this same flag over Washington, DC May 8, 2015 in a B17 bomber as part of the Arsenal of Democracy World War II Capitol Flyover.
