Donation: Barbara is donating this beautiful piece called “Argali”. It is 30”x40” framed original on Gesso board. Educated in England Barbara Marks began her art career in Jackson Hole Wyoming carving in antler and wood, sculpting and painting. Enthralled by the Rocky Mountain west, Barbara exhibited in the Jackson Hole area and was an early participant in SCI. Family life took her to the Middle East for several years where she created an Arabic portfolio in all mediums with sales to both the diplomatic community and the Royal Family of Bahrain. In 2002 Barbara and her family moved to Whidbey Island where she opened her own gallery and began experimenting with mixed media sculpted wildlife paintings and local Northwest themes. Barbara continues to create her love of western wildlife in all mediums, sculpting and carving in both wood and antler in her studio overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
