The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society is proud to bring the 2018 Colorado Statewide Rocky Mountain Goat license to the Wild Sheep Foundation Convention. Colorado has some of the healthiest goat populations in the western United States. Numerous mature trophy goats have been harvested in the past and the winner of this tag will have the opportunity to pursue a nanny or billy for approximately a four-month time frame. Colorado offers tremendous access to several of its goat herds making this tag a bow hunter’s dream. Auction and raffle tag holders have the option of hunting in any open unit, from when units open in September through November and December in pursuit of beautiful long haired trophies.

The season start dates are unit and weapon specific but the purchaser of this tag will have the added benefit of a closing date of December 31, 2018 for all units. Most seasons finish around the first week of October but the winner of this tag will be allowed to hunt after all other seasons have closed and may be the only goat hunter in the field. Guiding/Outfitting is not included with the purchase of this tag. The tag is not transferable to another person.
