This tag is good for Any Buck Antelope. The hunting season is 365 days (AUGUST 15, 2018 – AUGUST 14, 2019) and includes most huntable pronghorn antelope units (Units 1-10, 11M, 12A, 12B, 13A, 13B, 15A, 15B, 17A, 17B, 18A, 18B, portions of 19A, 19B, 21, 30A, 31,32, 34B, 35A, and 35B) within the state of Arizona as prescribed in AZ Game & Fish rule R12-4-120 (Commission Order 29).
The entire proceeds from the sale of this tag are used to fund on-the-ground antelope projects like water developments, habitat enhancements, relocations, and highway mitigation research. The Arizona Antelope Foundation and the Wild Sheep Foundation absorb all costs for marketing and auctioning the tag. To date, more than $2.2 million has been raised strictly for antelope management through this auction tag. Without the continued funding provided by these tag funds, Arizona’s antelope restoration program would be years behind its current success.
