DONATION: Karl Lansing was raised in the majestic northern Rockies of his native British Columbia. Karl has been a taxidermist and involved in the outfitting and guide business from a young age. He truly knows his subjects inside and out. He has tackled two things he felt were missing in other sculptors’ work, anatomical correctness and realistic detail. This realistic grizzly bear is backed up against his favorite scratching post! The look on his face is total bliss. Set on marble and wood base makes this lamp very solid. The shade is custom made, pounded copper with micah inserts. This lamp casts a beautiful warm glow in any room. This sculpture also has a matching lamp titled “Bear Hug”.
