A 5% buyer's premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit/tag (unless prohibited by statute.) Proceeds will be dedicated to WSF Conservation Initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.

At the 2020 Wild Sheep Show, Taos Pueblo will be auctioning ONE Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Tag for the Taos Pueblo Gorge Herd. This population of bighorn was reintroduced to their historic range by Taos Pueblo in 2006. The 2018 Wild Sheep Show was the first year this tag was auctioned. Taos Pueblo will provide: airport pickup (Taos, Albuquerque, or Santa Fe), scouting, room and board, and a generous hunting season. Taos Pueblo has also specified Frontier Outfitting as the licensed outfitter for this hunt. Frontier Outfitting will provide scouting, guide service, and game care. All negotiations for guide service shall be made with Frontier Outfitting. Contact GT Nunn at (505) 350-9775, (505) 864-9392. This permit is valid during the 2020 season. All hunters must comply with the rules and regulations in the Taos Pueblo Game & Fish Code.
ONLY ONE GORGE HUNT WILL BE AUCTIONED AT THE 2020 WILD SHEEP SHOW.
