Statewide Deer Hunt - MDF Linn-Benton Black Tail Chapter of Linn Co

The Statewide Deer hunt provides one (1) Statewide Deer tag with an extended hunt season from August 1 to November 30. The tag holder may use any weapon legal in Oregon for deer. The tag holder may choose from mule deer, black-tailed deer, white-tailed deer or Columbian white-tailed deer for the deer tag. The tag is valid for all Wildlife Management Units in the state, see Oregon’s 2021 Big Game Regulations for more information on units and specific closures. Columbian White-tailed deer hunting would only be allowed in those units where it is legal to do so.

Ninety percent of the sale price goes to Oregon’s Access & Habitat program and ten percent stays with the host organization. Last year, auction sales generated over $325,000 in revenue for the A& H program. Auction sales attribute approximately twenty-two percent of the A& H program budget, or to put it another way, fund almost 600,000 acres of hunter access and over 6,000 acres of habitat improvement. We are the Linn-Benton Black Tail Chapter of Linn Co. Our chapter has grown year after year to help with conservation and habitat for wildlife
