DONATION: Alberta bighorn hunting is ultimate North American wild sheephunting experience. Alberta bighorn sheep are the biggest of all the wild
sheep, the king of rams. This is a 10-day horseback bighorn hunt for 1 hunter
with Savage Bighorns Ltd. Trophy fee is included.
DATE:
September 1 - October 15, 2023, or 2024.
ADDITIONAL HUNTERS: Welcome for $50,000
ADDITIONAL NON-HUNTERS: Welcome for $5,000
AMENITIES INCLUDED: Trophy fee
for 1 bighorn sheep, food, and guide.
AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: Car rental to lodge or pick up for $400. License fee of $200, Tag fee of $1,000and tax of 5%, and gratuity.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Horseback into a very comfortable tent camp
LOCATION: Alberta, Canada
SPECIAL NOTES: We will be hunting west of the Caroline Lodge about 2-hour drive.Our areas are primarily wilderness, a bighorn mecca as it is one of the hardest
areas to access in the Southern Alberta bighorn range, thus producing big
mature rams. As well the famous Banff /Jasper National Park always harbors
large mature rams that frequent these areas making it in my mind Alberta’s top
pick for harvesting a large Alberta ram with gun or bow. The area speaks for
itself! But it is now owned and managed by Chad SAVAGE Lenz and his guides in
of Savage Bighorns, world famous in the sheep world for putting bow hunters and
rifle hunters on sheep!! This area is in Savage’s own back yard, and he first
hunted the area at the age of 18! That’s 27 years of sheep experience in and
out of this new endeavor. Chad “SAVAGE” Lenz – has lived in, and hunted this area for more than 30 years, givinghim the advantage of experience when it comes to guiding hunters to the best
possible locations. Chad’s personal specialty lies in bow hunts. Having over 20
years bow hunting experience, his instincts and “know how” will be your best
asset in assuring a trophy class encounter of the SAVAGE kind.
