2. October 1937 Field & Stream - Featuring the story “ King of the Busters” by Martin Bovey on his huge Alberta Bighorn.
3. November 1952 Outdoor Life - Featuring the story “The Three Musketeers” on the huge rams that Martin Bovey has harvested in Alberta
4. April 1948 True Magazine - Featuring the story “Grand Slam” by Grancel Fritz. The very first time the term was used.
5. October 1957 Outdoor Life - Featuring the story “New World Record - Dall Sheep” by Frank Cook. Also in this issue is a story by Fred Bear in the Yukon titled “Arrow for A Grizzly”
6. June 1938 Sports Afield - Featuring a story by T. E Shillingburg who hunted with Frank Golata and Curley Cochrane and took a symmetrical 46-inch ram.
