DONATION: Carefully handcrafted by welder and artist, Jennifer Phillips. This sculpture is a one of one and completely original piece. Built from the ground up using nothing but raw metal materials such as steel sheet and rod, Phillips cuts, bends and welds these static materials into lifelike form. The piece Phillips calls “Mountain Monarch” resembles a realistic, life size Dall’s sheep- it even meets “Full-Curl Regulation”. Look closer and you can count the eight welded annuli visible in its horns. The “Mountain Monarch” can be either free standing or wall hanging. Included with the sculpture, comes a unique metal base designed and welded by Phillips that resembles a piece of mountain rock. The sheep simply slides onto the base post. For wall-hanging purposes- keyhole (mounting hole) on wall-side of sheep allows for mounting ease. The Mountain Monarch is sure to awe both hunters and art enthusiasts alike.
